對許多外國旅客來說，iPhone 不只是通訊工具，更承擔了上網、導航、翻譯、叫車、付款、下載 App 與交通使用等多種功能。
For many foreign travelers, an iPhone is more than just a communication device — it is also used for internet access, navigation, translation, ride-hailing, payments, app downloads, and transportation.
但實際來台後，許多問題往往不是手機本身故障，而是卡在 eSIM、帳號地區、雙卡設定、交通支付或充電狀況。
But after arriving in Taiwan, many problems are not caused by the phone itself malfunctioning, but by issues related to eSIM, account region, dual SIM settings, transportation payments, or charging conditions.
1. iPhone 無法安裝或啟用台灣 eSIM
Unable to install or activate a Taiwan eSIM on iPhone
部分裝置可能因機型不支援、電信商限制，或仍處於鎖機狀態，導致 eSIM 無法順利安裝。
Some devices may be unable to install an eSIM properly because the model does not support it, there are carrier restrictions, or the phone is still carrier-locked.
建議做法： 先確認手機是否支援 eSIM，並檢查是否已解除電信商限制。
Suggested solution: First confirm whether the phone supports eSIM, and check whether carrier restrictions have been removed.
2. 雙卡設定錯誤，導致有門號卻沒有網路
Incorrect dual SIM settings, causing you to have a phone number but no internet access
即使成功安裝 eSIM，若主要門號、行動數據或語音線路設定錯誤，仍可能無法上網或接收驗證碼。
Even if the eSIM is installed successfully, you may still be unable to access the internet or receive verification codes if the primary line, cellular data, or voice line is set incorrectly.
建議做法： 重新確認雙門號設定，尤其是行動數據的指定線路。
Suggested solution: Check your dual SIM settings again, especially which line is assigned for cellular data.
3. 手機其實仍是鎖機狀態
The phone is actually still carrier-locked
不少旅客直到抵台後才發現，原本的 iPhone 仍受原電信商限制，無法使用其他 SIM 或 eSIM。
Many travelers only realize after arriving in Taiwan that their iPhone is still restricted by their original carrier and cannot use another SIM or eSIM.
建議做法： 出發前先確認裝置是否可使用其他電信商。
Suggested solution: Before departure, confirm whether the device can be used with another carrier.
4. 到台灣後想下載在地 App，卻顯示無法使用
After arriving in Taiwan, you want to download local apps, but they show as unavailable
由於 App Store 內容會依帳號地區不同而異，部分台灣在地 App 可能無法直接下載。
Because App Store content varies depending on the region of your account, some local Taiwan apps may not be available for direct download.
建議做法： 檢查 Apple 帳號地區設定，必要時調整為台灣地區。
Suggested solution: Check your Apple Account region settings, and change them to Taiwan if necessary.
5. 想切換 App Store 地區，卻卡在餘額或付款方式
You want to switch your App Store region, but get stuck because of account balance or payment method
變更國家／地區時，常會因帳號仍有餘額、沒有當地付款方式，或缺少帳單地址而中斷。
When changing country or region, the process is often interrupted because there is still account balance remaining, no local payment method is available, or a billing address is missing.
建議做法： 先完成帳號餘額處理，並確認付款與帳單資訊符合要求。
Suggested solution: First clear any remaining account balance, and make sure your payment and billing information meets the requirements.
6. 連免費 App 都無法下載
Unable to download even free apps
有些帳號即使下載免費 App，也可能因付款資訊異常或帳單問題而受阻。
Some accounts may still be blocked from downloading free apps because of payment information issues or billing problems.
建議做法： 先檢查 Apple ID 的付款資料與帳號狀態。
Suggested solution: Check the payment information and account status of your Apple ID first.
7. 誤以為 iPhone 可直接當悠遊卡使用
Mistakenly thinking that an iPhone can be used directly as an EasyCard
許多旅客會直覺認為 iPhone Wallet 可直接加入悠遊卡，但目前使用方式並非如此。
Many travelers naturally assume that they can add an EasyCard directly to iPhone Wallet, but that is not currently how it works.
建議做法： 來台旅遊仍建議備妥實體悠遊卡，使用範圍較完整。
Suggested solution: When traveling in Taiwan, it is still recommended to prepare a physical EasyCard, as it offers more complete usage coverage.
8. 誤以為 Apple Pay 可涵蓋所有交通場景
Mistakenly thinking that Apple Pay covers all transportation scenarios
雖然部分交通系統已支援感應支付，但並不代表全台所有移動情境都能單靠 iPhone 完成。
Although some transportation systems already support contactless payment, that does not mean every transportation scenario across Taiwan can be handled using only an iPhone.
建議做法： 若有跨交通工具需求，實體悠遊卡仍是較穩定的選擇。
Suggested solution: If you need to use multiple types of transportation, a physical EasyCard is still the more reliable option.
9. 捷運刷錯感應區，導致扣款方式混亂
Tapping the wrong sensor area in the MRT, causing confusion over how the fare was charged
若刷錯讀卡區，可能出現扣款邏輯混淆，讓旅客不清楚究竟使用了哪一種支付方式。
If you tap the wrong card reader area, it may create confusion in the payment logic, making travelers unsure which payment method was actually used.
建議做法： 使用前先確認感應區類型，避免誤刷。
Suggested solution: Before tapping, confirm the type of reader area to avoid using the wrong one.
10. 容量不足、耗電過快或充電異常
Insufficient storage, battery draining too quickly, or abnormal charging
旅途中手機用途密集，一旦儲存空間不足、低電量或充電不穩，對行程影響很大。
During a trip, phone usage is intensive. Once storage runs low, battery power drops too quickly, or charging becomes unstable, it can seriously affect your itinerary.
建議做法： 出發前先檢查儲存空間、電池健康度與充電配件狀況。
Suggested solution: Before departure, check your storage space, battery health, and charging accessories.
